Reinventing Media Supply Chains Around the Globe
Earlier this month, our Reinventing the Media Supply Chain workshop visited Sky Studios in Milan.
For the past three years this event, hosted in collaboration with AWS, has traveled to cities worldwide, and Milan was another great experience. Like previous events, this edition featured industry leaders talking about the future of M&E, how they are responding to new business challenges with media supply chains that are agile, efficient, and intelligent. And we’ve created opportunities for valuable networking. Attendee feedback has been extremely positive.
The team at Sky Production Services was generous enough to create this highlight reel of the day’s activities, and we can’t speak highly enough of their team and their work – thank you!
Take a minute to check out the video. The roadshow continues in 2025! If you’re interested in hosting one of these events at your facility, please get in touch.
Supply Chain Thinking
Doing More With Less By Reimagining Your Media Supply Chain

Geoff Stedman, Chief Marketing Officer
If you feel like economic and business pressures are converging and your team is struggling to adapt, you aren’t alone. As layoffs, restructurings, and mergers have become regular occurrences, operational teams are expected to deliver more titles and assets to an increasing number of destinations. Reliant on leaner teams and fewer resources, they must do more with less — all while maintaining the responsiveness and accuracy to fulfill unanticipated business deals quickly.
Whether it was subbing, dubbing, captioning, or compliance, I was impressed by some of the new tools for automating these important tasks. It was clear that GenAI and machine learning tools will help make more content available to more audiences faster. It’s an exciting time, and it’s also a time to start experimenting.
In our most recent blog post, we discuss how to take advantage of the innovations on display at IBC. Your Rally media supply chain platform helps you experiment with these tools — and integrate them without worrying about typical procurement and technical integration challenges.
In the blog, we look at the factors that help companies meet the dual challenge of managing growing workloads and addressing unexpected surges in demand.
From Our Technical Solutions Team
Your Media Supply Chain Should be Evolving

Brian Pelletier, VP of Technical Solutions – Americas
Creating an efficient media supply chain is not a one-time project; it should be in a continuous state of evolution as our businesses and technology evolve.
Consistently shrinking deadlines, an expanding number of distribution destinations, and rapid changes in the makeup of operating teams mean today’s workflows will not be ideally suited to tomorrow’s requirements. Incorporating agile design principles and incremental improvements into your workflows is more important than ever.
Over time, media companies can improve workflows systematically, optimize content quality, and ensure rapid scalability to meet new demands by adopting an iterative approach that integrates distinct functional steps and leverages new advancements in media processing.
In the blog, we discuss how an agile approach, supported by Rally, to media supply chain iteration and evolution allows you to adopt new technologies and increase their use over time. Rally users are uniquely equipped to respond to change, helping teams maintain cutting-edge operations.
New in Rally
More Duplication Options Speed New Setup in Rally
Rally Gateway and Insight widgets can now be duplicated on pages and dashboards. As a result, administrators can build dashboards more efficiently: simply start with settings from a different widget on the same page, then adjust as needed.
Rally administrators can also duplicate complete Gateways, dashboards, and Access portals. Since duplicating allows administrators to start from an established point, they can set up users and groups more quickly.
These are just some of many recent updates made to the Rally platform. Read more in our latest Rally Updates blog.
